Introducing Myself

introduction-the-adventure-begins

How should I start?

I want to write. It has been in my mind for a long time. Over the years I’ve started a number of “blogs” with some or no idea what I wanted to write about. I just knew I wanted to write.

So here is yet another attempt. Why will this one be different?

Late last night I read a blog post about writing. There were a couple of things in it that resonated with me and inspired me to try again.

The first one was “You’re already writing”. It’s true. I am currently working as a digital advertising specialist. I write ad copy and (re-write) landing page content on a daily basis. Not to mention the hundreds of emails. So I do write.

The second one was to just start. I have trouble sticking to a theme. I thought I had to have a solid theme in order to start writing. But that blog thought me not to worry about the theme. Just starting and sticking with it was a good enough beginning. The theme will clarify itself the more I write.

So here I am. Writing.

I will make a concious effort to keep this up for at least 90 days. I know some days will be hard. Some days I’ll have to literally force myself. But I do believe it will be worth it.

What I want to achieve with this?

Maybe it will help me communicate better. It will hopefully improve my English writing skills. Maybe it will improve my confidence. Maybe it will become a source of income. Maybe I really do have something to say and noone to say it to.

That bit is still to be clarified.

To You, who are reading this – Thank you! I hope I don’t disappoint you. And me.
